Margate beaches are lifeguard protected Memorial Day through Labor Day. The City also offers guarded beaches past Labor Day when the weather permits. Check with Beach Patrol Headquarters as to which beaches are protected & never enter the water at an unprotected beach.
2013 PROTECTED BEACHES
Beginning Memorial Day Weekend, the following beaches will be protected from 10:00am to 6:00pm -ONLY WEEKENDS-.

Beginning June 15, the following beaches will be protected from 10:00am to 6:00pm -ONLY WEEKENDS-.

Beginning June 22, the following beaches will be protected from 10:00am to 6:00pm - ONLY WEEKENDS-.

Beginning June 28, 2013, the following beaches will be protected daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

never enter the water at an unprotected beach
